Soundcore Life Q30

Hey guys,

I’ve been testing out the Soundcore Life Q30 Headphones for the last few months. I haven’t used over the ear headphones for a while, and wasn’t planning until sound core offered to send one out for review. I wanted to try it out because I enjoyed the sound core liberty 2 pro’s so i want to see if they can live up to their reputation and it’s been a while since I’ve tried over the ear headphones. It’s pretty simple to set up along with using their app which is free. The app is beneficial to use an equalizer for. I remember the good old days when they used to have an equalizer on the iPhone settings, until they removed it :(

The headphones come with a charger and soft case. This will keep the headphones clean, but I’d prefer a hard case as it helps prevent damages. These can be folded up making it easy to carry around in your backpack. They’re pretty comfortable to wear on your head except my ears get hot after like an hour or so. Noise cancelling works well on this along with the normal, but transparency levels aren't as effective because I still can’t hear everything in transparency mode. I should re-iterate by saying that it’s still hard to hear things that should grab your attention like someone opening the door. The sound focuses more on bass, which I don't like in certain genres of music because it hinders the quality for me. This was disappointing to hear because I was a fan of the sound core liberty 2 pros.

I didn’t test out the battery life thoroughly, however I did get 5 days out of it. Granted I didn’t exactly keep track of how long I was using the headphones for, except one of the days I had it going for around 2 hours, and the other time was over an hour or so. IT’s possible there were multiple days like this, but like I mentioned before, it was hard to keep on for over an hour as my ears felt like they needed a breather and from getting warm.

I tried running with these around the house and it just doesn’t work. The sound can feel like it might get wobbly or something similar along the lines possibly due to the noise cancellation, and the headphones tend to move around, feeling the need to keep re-adjusting them. I’m sticking with true wireless earbuds to runs and workouts.

Overall they’re a decent choice for listening while doing homework or chilling and I don’t have any other recommendations at the moment because I haven’t tried any other headphones around this price. To Buy The Headphones, Check Them Out On Amazon (Affiliate Link)
