I’ve owned over a dozen battery packs in the last several years. I don’t recall any of them dying except for maybe one or 2 not being able to hold a charge for long, which I guess you can argue are pretty much dead. The others I’ve ended up giving to my friends and family members, but I’ve still used a lot more battery packs than the average person and it’s mainly because I’m a reviewer. I’ve had companies send it to me for a discount or few over the past years, but in no means am I an expert in batteries; I’ve used them more as a consumer.

There were a few YouTube ads I've seen for battery packs in the past few months. 4Patriots Patriot Power Cell and LIT Mobile come to mind for me.

Seeing 4Patriots commercial on their battery pack is nothing really out of the ordinary, having 2 or 3 ports, a flashlight, and solar charging. It’s still pretty good and probably all you need on a battery pack, but what if I told you there’s different types and even more affordable options similar to this? I also want to mention that LIT Mobile is Shady, here’s a video exposing their little scheme - https://youtu.be/qWeeq0nFxLw

For many battery packs I’ve used with solar power are really just a marketing scheme to me because it takes forever to charge the battery that way, unless if you had one with a large fordable panel(i believe these types of battery packs are meant for people outdoors).

The idea of just talking about a simple tool to charge your phone just seems mundane, but the more I got into it, I found it’s kind of interesting to see so many unique types of power banks that there are to offer. You could always go for a simple slim battery pack that’s just a 10,000 mah battery which should charge your phone a few times before the battery pack itself needs to be recharged. I tried out the Crave Plus Aluminum and it was alright, except the pricing, which is $50 as I’m writing this.

They were alright, it’s just how expensive it is, because at the same battery capacity, you can get one for less than half the price made by PowerAdd! The only difference with this one is that it only has one usb cable to charge, but i think it’s worthwhile & I want to thank POWERADD for sending one in for review.

PowerAdd Battery Pack Next To An iPhone

My main one that I carry with me in my backpack is the Hokonui 20,000mAh Battery Pack which was sent in by Hokonui for review. The reason I carry this one more than the PowerAdd is because for one its relatively thin being about 15 mm thick and just under 8 inchs tall. It has 3 usb ports with a usb c port that i might share with some friends or coworkers when we need to charge out phones. It also has an LED display to show how much charge is left in the battery.

Did I mention this has a Fast Charging port? only one port though.

This is also CHEAPER than the Crave Plus even though it has twice the battery capacity of it.

There's an even beefier option than this, and it has some wall outlets in it. Actually you can get ones that are able to jump start a car, or even charge a laptop. They're bigger, and tend to cost more, like the AIVANT AC Oulet Power Bank, 20000mAh AC 100-120V/85Watts Portable Charger Cellphone Laptop Battery Pack Auto Battery Booster Car Jump Starter. This is another battery pack that was sent by a company a few years ago that isn't available anymore though, but you'll find plenty of alternatives on Amazon here (Affiliate Link) - https://amzn.to/3mgyMo2
